Gaston Schools LifeChanger of the Year nominees named

Seven Gaston County Schools employees have been nominated for the 2019-2020 national LifeChanger of the Year Award. LifeChanger of the Year is an annual program recognizing teachers and administrators who are making a significant difference in the lives of students by exemplifying excellence, positive influence and leadership. 

The Gaston County Schools LifeChanger of the Year nominees are:

Philip Biedenbender, Chorus teacher, Ashbrook High School

Kellie Howe, principal, Webb Street School

Faith Huff, Media Specialist, York Chester Middle School

Darius James, Business/Finance teacher, Ashbrook High School

Victoria Lawson, English Language Arts teacher, Ashbrook High School

Shannon Mejia, World History teacher, Ashbrook High School

Jessica Parker, Health teacher, Ashbrook High School
